Nisha B Thakur lives in Navi Mumbai with her family. After completing her post graduation in Communication Management she worked a copywriter
with the reputed ad agency from Mumbai. Following years of adding
work experience she now works as a freelance copywriter cum screenwriter.
When she is not writing, she writes poem. Apart from writing she enjoys cooking, she is a big
foodie. She enjoys reading novels, watching cinema and surfing the TV. She is spiritual and is a follower of Vipsana
meditation. She believes in God, Karma and Karmic connections. By means of all
the experiences of her life she has written her debut novel.
Nisha is presently juggling with freelance copy and screen writing projects. She aspires to be a know author and
know film writer.

Tell us about yourself?
I am a freelance script/copywriter. I am from Mumbai
and I stay here with my family. I aspire to be a known film writer and author.
How tough the publishing industry is for new comers? Is
it tough? Are you rejected by some publishers?
It is very tough for new comers to get a publisher. New comers have to face
rejection by publisher and I am no different. Even I had to face rejection.
What is the best thing about being a published author?
The best thing about being a published author is
people read your work .

Tell something about your book?
First
You Plz is a tale of immature girl, Avanti. It is a story of her struggle as
she deals with worries of first love.
Her journey from realization of the sweet feeling she experiences these
days is called Love- her First Love. It
is a tale of her secretly nurtured dream and her
silent prayer that he will propose her in a very romantic way. It is a tale of
her desire that she wants him to say those three magical words to her first.
Although he hasn't shown much interest in her. Still in her
heart she keeps on praying, first you plz…
It is Avanti’s journey of ups and downs of her first love and
how she exhibits immaturity as she deals with anxieties of her first love.
How much of Avanti is Nisha?
Avanti is an imaginary character and she is completely
different from Nisha. Avanti’s innocence, immaturity and her dedication to
her love is too pure to match in real
world.
Tell us your thought behind
this particular book?
The thought behind the book
was the fact that young people in love..wait for the opposite sex to take first
step.. they want the other one to say those words first ..
This is your first novel? What is your expectation with the
book and are you ready for facing critical review of your book?
This is my first novel, the
expectation is not very high. Yes, I am ready to face critical review.
Who was the first to read
your book? What was the first reaction?
First to read my unpublished
manuscript were two people; my younger brother and my friend Santosh Sirsi.. they both liked it and loved the innocence of Avanti
How do you rate your
experience with your publisher?
Experience with publisher is very good.. they are very helpful.
Future literary plans?
To write more books which my
reader like and love reading.
